Upcycling is the process of converting waste materials or useless products into new materials or products of better quality or for better environmental value. A great way to breathe new life into items and keep them out of the landfill, many fun crafts and projects involve upcycling.
Keep Golden Isles Beautiful upcycles items into unique customized pieces perfect for our programs and activities. Awards, give-aways, educational displays and office items are just a handful of the upcycled creations generated.

UP/REcycled ART EXHIBIT AT THE RITZ
The annual UP/REcycled Art exhibit and competition held at the historic Ritz Theater in downtown Brunswick partners Golden Isles Arts and Humanities with Keep Golden Isles Beautiful in promoting upcycling community wide. Open to all ages, the exhibit/ contest encourages waste reduction through the creative processes of upcycling and recycling.
Turning trash into treasure, entries of all shapes, sizes and colors adorn the gallery walls of the historic Ritz Theater in downtown Brunswick for public viewing and celebration. Putting a creative twist on traditional recycling, the UP/REcycled Trash Art Exhibit and Contest is a fun way to educate and promote community stewardship.
