BRUNSWICK, GA - (April 10, 2023) – In celebration of Georgia Cities Week, the City of Brunswick is hosting a cleanup on Saturday, April 29th at 9AM and welcomes volunteers.

Taking a neighborhood-by-neighborhood approach, the City is partnering with Neighborhood Planning Associations and seeking volunteers to participate in cleaning activities. Churches, clubs, family/friends groups, youth groups, civic groups and the general public are encouraged to lend a hand. Trash bags, gloves, safety vests and volunteer water will be provided. Bug spray, sunscreen and work clothes are recommended.

"We are excited to again partner with the City of Brunswick for a Georgia Cities Week cleanup,” said Keep Golden Isles Beautiful executive director Lea King-Badyna. “Brunswick’s jam packed week-long celebration activities culminates with the City cleanup, and we need folks to come out and lend a hand.”
