UNSECURED LOADS

SECURE VEHICLE/TRAILER LOADS FOR SAFETY AND ROADSIDE LITTER REDUCTION

State and local ordinances mandate the proper tarping, netting, roping, bungee usage, or otherwise securing vehicle and trailer loads. Even non-littering unsecured loads are ticketable offenses.

Each April sees enhanced unsecured load enforcement by all three local law enforcement agencies. Both State and local unsecured load laws call for the proper containment of anything from yard trash to construction materials in open truck beds or trailers.

Violations of the unsecured load ordinances can be costly and pertain as well to items not properly secured, whether actively littering or not.

Together we can reduce litter and make the roadways safer -
PROPERLY SECURE THOSE VEHICLE AND/OR TRAILER LOADS.
